Exclamation Static! Annoying!

Hey

So I bought Pro tools not to long ago and everytime I produce/record music I start hearing random pops and clicks..followed by a HORRIBLE NON-STOP static sound!

I dont know whats wrong, I got just a nice software mic etc, but I cant even use PT anymore cause the sound is so bad!!

Please help!!

Help us Help You - READ THIS Before Posting!

sometimes static has been reported when the wrong drivers were installed for digi 002 or 003 interfaces.

you need to tell us about your system and hardware setup before we can possibly identify and help remedy the problem.
