Digi 002 chase time code?
I really need any Digi 002 system I buy to be able to chase time code (or be chased), so as to transfer parts from my DA-88's, and to grab synth sounds from my co-worker's tower of modules (he's running Digital Performer, as am I). I notice that the Pro Tools LE software has an "online" button. Is that whole function of Pro Tools LE dead unless I get the DV toolkit? For basic sync with DA-88's for the time being, I assume it's possible to simply record an audio track of timecode into the Digi 002 and then slave the DA-88/SY-88 to the 002? Or is there a way to put the Digi 002 online and have it chase the DA-88? (Currently my system consists of a DA-88/SY-88, two DA-38's, Pro Tools Project II, an 882 (ick), an MTP A/V and Digital Performer 2.7) These DA-88's aren't gonna last forever, so I'm trying to make a plan to replace them with a computer solution.
