Default additional hard drive

It's well known that one should not record to the 'system drive,' which is the hard drive with your operating system on it.

Rather you should record to an additional drive without operating system information on it.

So, should I have Protools running on the System drive, but RECORDING TO the additional drive?
Or installed their as well as recording to there?

Default Re: additional hard drive

No... install pro-tools on your system drive.

Use your second drive for sessions, audio library, samples etc.....
