Default Is the Mbox1 24bit?

Can the Mbox 1 go up to 24 bit and use this within other software?

I sue the mbox1 with PT on a Mac, but also use it as a standard soundcard via ASIO on a PC which works well..

Now some of the software, (Sony Soundforge / Acid) can use 24 bit in their projects so wondered if i set the projects to this, will the Mbox1 record things and playback at 24bit or do i need a better soundcard for this bit-rate?
