Just to be clear, you don't want to use your Mbox2 with ANY kind of USB hub. (powered or passive)

Before you mentioned trying a powered hub, I was reading your posts thinking you might be using a hub, or USB extension cable or something similar. Connect the Mbox2 directly to the computer, ideally to a USB port directly on the motherboard, like the ones on the back of the computer tower.

Hope that helps!

Hi The night train
thanks for your reply,i connect mbox2 to mainboard usb directly before, but not works ,then i try usb hub because i searched some post mention someone usb hub can work. i removed usb hub now ,but still not work.

in win7 the problem is "Problem detected with audio clock. Check that your clock source and sample rate are correct"

in xp the problem is "DAE 1115"

only mbox2 usb device on pc,and i have tried all usb ports, all troubleshootings,

i called digidesign tech , they ask me try pci to usb card with TI chips, but i can't find a TI pci usb card any where, most is NEC chips....any suggest?
and i just found a new probability is the turbo boost function of I5 may bring on DAE 1115 or Audio clock error? i'll check this.

my mbox2 solving diary will go on

I have the same problem, what I did is to buy a PCI USB 2.0 card and it WORKS PERFECT, it doesnt have to be a TI (Texas Instrument), I buy a VIA and works perfect
