Anti Virus and Firewall Software

Hello all,
If this topic has already been covered, I apologize, but I am wondering what software people are using for anti virus protection. I use MacAfee Anti Virus on some other PCs, but not on my DAW.

I am looking for a program that is not overly intrusive in regard to running PTLE. I would think a program that is fairly easy to remove would be an asset. I removed MacAfee from my DAW last winter, and was a fairly involved process to get it out of all the registries, etc.

The next question is, "Firewalls". What are people using? Thanks in avance

Hi there.

I'm using Norton Antivirus. I've not identified any problems cause for PTLE.

Go with a hardware firewall, not software. I'm using a LinkSys BEFSR11. They run about $80 I think, and allow you to run a network behind them without your ISP having any visibility.
