Default X-Form Elastic Audio "Missing Files" But not really

So I have rendered some huge sessions (full orchestra sessions) with Elastic Audio using the X-Form.

Every time I load up the session, I get the "Missing Files Dialogue" (About 411 files). However, if I tell it to find it, it searches and searches with no success. If I tell it that I will find it manually, I can link any of the files with the "Rendered Folder" and match them, but I don't have time to do this with over 400 files on all of my sessions. Nevertheless, the few I did did solve the problem for the next time I reopened the session.

The funny thing, is that if I quit linking them, everything seems to be in my session just fine. I don't see any missing files and there are no files in the Clips bin that are "offline" The Data Timeline Status is Green. Yet when I go to reopen the session again, I get the same "Missing Files dialogue that shows that I am missing hundreds of rendered files."

I am in Pro Tools 10.3.8 HD on Mac Pro 10.8.5 3.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon (2012) with 32 GB of RAM.

Anybody else see this bug and know away around it? At least it will still play fine.

If all the audio you NEED is showing up, then open the CLIPS bin(formerly know as the Regions bin) and select Offline(all off-line files will be in italics and lighter grey in color), then Clear. No more messages Or, if you're not really sure, you could just SKIP, or Save Session Copy, check the box to include audio, and check the box for Main Playlist Only and see what happens in this new "copied" version

Albee,

Thank you for your help. After I cancel out of manually linking files, no files in the clips bin show up as "Offline".

I'll try saving a session copy to see if that fixes it. Thanks.

So I did a Save Copy In to a new location. I opened the session and it still tells me files are missing at first. Then when I say manually link and then close the window, everything is there and working great. So annoying.
