Default Just bought STEVEN SLATES TRIGGER PLATINUM and I don't have a clue HELP please
As I said I Just bought STEVEN SLATES TRIGGER PLATINUM and I don't have a clue HELP please. I can't find a read me or instruction manual or anything. I don't know anything about this kind of stuff at all . I am a firm believer of musicians playing there instruments but after hearing some of the kits bands play I thought this would be a essential tool to make quality music.

I have no clue if someone could help me out , I really need it

I think, as you may have now found out that, ultimately, if you figure this kind of stuff out for yourself you will get way more out of. The process of discovery will reveal all sorts of incredibly usefull, to the creative process, bonus information.

I am still lost . I downloaded the rest I think I opened it but I still cannot get a sample in

Did you read the PDF or not? I think that "TRIGGER User Guide.pdf" is download number 13 on the d/l page.

Is it just SS that you don't understand or using VI's (Virtual Instruments) & midi in Pro Tools as well?

I have never used midi at all. I have learned how to get sounds in though. I thought they would all show up together like all snares all kicks act act but I can load a sample then it gives me a few flavours to pick from. But I can at least get sounds so Im good now . Thank you

Trigger doesn't work well with midi. It's meant to be a drum sample player that is triggered by audio.
