Basic Gain Structure Fader/Master Fader Question
So PTHD...
Say all my tracks in a session are kinda low, say -20db at the peaks. If I raise Individual Faders and or the Master Fader above what Pro Tools calls 0db on the Mixer...am I doing something undesirable in terms of Pro Tools Gain Structure efficiency? I mean it's all relative to each other somehow. If it's not clipping it's not clipping right, regardless of what the numbers say on the Pro Tools Mixer?
