Default Re: Color patette customization complete failure

I figured out a partial workaround... Copy any random .ptpreset file to the Color Palette folder and name the file whatever you plan on saving it as. Then after making any tweaks to the UI, in the Color Palette dialog box, save-as and replace that file. The quick presets still don't work, but you can still recall your settings by using the dropdown menu.

It is a folder permission issue.

the Quick Presets should form entries like so:

You can create the files so they can be written over from within Pro Tools if there's a problem.

Check the Permissions for the Pro Tools Presets folder in /Users/*username*/Documents/Pro Tools/ ...mine's set to Read & Write for my account, and save/presets are working.

Just delete the 'Color Palette' folder in Documents/Pro Tools and make a new folder in the same place. Label it Color Palette and your preferences will be fixed & saving will work.

Yes I've since changed the folder permissions. My fix was just what I came up with last night.

I don't know why they didn't just change the permissions on the original folder. Would have been simpler.

Not saving presets in any way, not Save, Save As or even hold+click over the fast 5 preset tabs
