shortcut to get window to pop up while using PT?

The Apple + "=" key will rotate thru the mix and the edit windows. Is there a shortcut while operating PT that will pull up the editor window for Eleven?

I always end up putting it somewhere, then it is in my way while tracking and editing...

Any suggestions would be great!

On a Mac, you can create your own keyboard shortcuts, per application. the process differs depending on your on which version of OSX you are on, but I believe this is how you do it in Snow Leopard.

Open your "System Preferences" and select "Keyboard"

Then select "Keyboard Shortcuts" and then select "Application Shortcuts"

You then want to click the little "+" sign to create a new shortcut.

When the new shortcut box appears, click the "Application" area and select "other"

A new finder window will pop up. Go enter the "Digidesign" folder in the "Applications" folder, select "Pro Tools", and click "Add" (Note: "Pro Tools" as an application may already be in the list that pops up. If it does, just click that, and not "other")

In the "menu title" area, type in "Eleven Rack" w/o quotations. It's important that the title is the EXACT command in the program's menu.

After that, type in your desired shortcut in the "Keyboard Shortcut" menu, click "Add" and that's it!

You can always delete the shortcut by selecting it, and click the "-" as opposed to the "+".

You can also turn on/off the Full Eleven Rack window (as well as make other adjustments) in the Eleven Rack Mini Window located at the top of the Edit Window.
