SE Microphone Bundle Question
Ok guys, is there no way to record and instrument with this bundle like a guitar? I understand the bundle is aimed at voice overs etc. I guess my friend bought the wrong one? or is there an alternative? Like maybe through a different interface or something?
I guess Im looking for a way around it. I realize the studio bundle with the Fast Track II is discontinued as well. Was hoping to help him save face. (Facepalm) |

Re: SE Microphone Bundle Question
Looking at the hardware on the M-Audio Producer USB microphone: M-Audio Vocal Studio, it has no audio input of any kind, just the mic itself. There is a headphone output, but no other connections besides the USB connection between the mic and the computer.
The Avid Vocal Studio included that mic and Pro Tools SE software. It now is an M-Audio product (owned by InMusic) called the M-Audio Vocal Studio, and ships with Ignite software (a free download from the M-Audio website). It looks like to use this with a guitar, you would have to mic a guitar amp with this mic, or if an acoustic, mic that. Quote:
