Default HD 10 HDX Audio Drop outs

I got a weird issue happening. Tracks with just start farting out. Audio will cut in and out. I did 10 takes and the last one did it. I thought at first i had an op amp going out in my api preamps. Turns out its not a preamp specific issue. The problem has skipped over to my hihats, bottom snare and toms. Hi hats and bottom snare are running through my vintechs toms thru api. I have had this issue in both sets of preamps.

I then thought it might be a hard drive issue. I put a brand new sata drive in my mac and its still doing it. Im suspecting a protools bug possibly. Just checking to see if anybody has experienced this. Im boggled on why this is happening. Almost acting like a bad cable or connection. But it skips over to other tracks.
