Default Task Manager

Hi All,

I can't get the task manager to search for files. The task automatically goes into pause. When I right click to resume task it does nothing! Any help?

Thanks

The Task window lets you monitor, pause and
cancel ongoing tasks including file copying,
fade creation and indexing

Thanks Andre, The task of initially finding files to open the session. Files that it can't find are automatically going into pause. When I open the session I check automatically find and re-link and in the task manager it is paused and won't come out of pause.

Thanks,
Victor

Have you tried dragging the paused tasks to the “active tasks” pane of the Task Manager window?

Yes I have. It is so weird. I have tried it on different sessions too. I can't load a session because of this.

Thanks,
Vic

By the look of things, it’s entirely possible that your problems can be traced to a corrupted preference file, a faulty directory, or a similar issue. At this point, I’d go through the standard troubleshooting routines (trash prefs, rebuild Digi databases, rebuild drive directories with Disk Warrior, etc.) And, as a last resort, re-install ProTools. See if that gets you anywhere.

IHTH.
