Default Elastique Pitch questions

Hi, I'm a little confused at the two versions of Elastique Pitch that are available.

Elastique Pitch v2 (currently £85) - real time, multiple formats but can also be used in Audio Suite for offline (AFAIK)

élastiqueAAX (currently £170) - some extra features like correcting for pull ups/ downs, PT only.

The question I really want to know is - can I use the cheaper one as a TC/E algorithm in PT?

Cheers!

No, it's still greyed out here with only Elastique Pitch v2 installed.

Ah rats - thanks very much for the info though, invaluable.

I find Waves' soundshifter excellent at pitch but poor at time. I'm using X-Form for TC/E chores but it's the only thing I use from the Complete Plugin Bundle and I'm ending my support package next year. So I'm looking for a permanent alternate that's good for TC/E.

Ah ha, this might be my best bet. There's an LE version of élastiqueAAX, which is the TC/E option only. I don't really need anything else as I have good options outside PT, but the convenience of a solid TC/E is worth having. There is only one site I can find selling it mind, currently 33% off at $113.

After playing with the demo, the good news is - TC/E sounds fantastic.

The bad news is - dialogue mode on TC/E is massively better on dialogue (unsurprisingly) and that's only available on the full version.

Decisions decisions...

How does it sound on dialogue compared to the standard Avid TCE and Serato Pitch n Time Pro?

I've never tried the latter, much better on the former. The Avid algorithm is hopeless on everything, basically.

I went for the full-fat AAX version. One thing that helped swing it is you get two activations, so I'm covered forever now on the main rig and the vanilla Pro Tools on the MBP.

Is this plugin a viable replacement for Pitch N Time Pro? We are starting to look at alternatives, since it seems unlikely that Serato will port PnT Pro to Apple Silicon native.

I don't have PnT to compare, but I'd say it's better than the stock X-Form. There's a free trial - restrictions are gaps of silence and a total length of 30s, but that should be good enough to give you an idea.
