The plug-in Waveshell1-AAX 10.0 has crashed
I've had this error pop up 4 or 5 times today.
"The plug-in Waveshell1-AAX 10.0 has crashed" I've never seen this before. Only thing I can think of is I updated a couple of Waves plugins the other day. Not even sure if they were used in the sessions I was working on. Any help? BTW, I'm on MacOS Mojave and Pro Tools Studio 2022.9.0 Last edited by Jonothon77; 11-04-2022 at 11:22 AM. Hmm, are Waves version 10 plugins compatible with Mojave? I would start there and ask Waves by opening a support ticket. Other options:
Roll back your update uninstall and re-install waves If PT loads without issue and its only when opening a session gives the crash, hold the SHIFT key while opening the session(which makes all plugins inactive), then go thru and re-activate the plugins(you can do full rows in a single command by holding all 3 modifier keys and clicking on any plugin in that row of inserts....at least this works on Windows) Lots of plugin-related issues will happen without a plugin being used(it/they just need to be installed).

Thanks Dave. Every time it happened was deep into the session, wasn't repeatable so a bit hard to track down. I'll give it a go tomorrow. Appreciate the response.

You can double check the specs for V10 here..

Something else you might want to consider before that, though, is running the Version Organiser and even the Repair function. There's a fair chance this might help fix your issue. |
