Default Reverb Design and Depth of field

Hey - here is a 50 minutes tutorial about REVERB DESIGN and understanding why a big DEPTH OF FIELD is so important and key for a good mix.

It's free - enjoy - and let me know, if you liked it. Also post Questions in the comment section.

I liked it...a lot. I've been doing this for 50 years and learned a whole new way to work with something I've taken for granted. THANKS!

This tutorial is better than many of the ones I've paid for. I also highly HIGHLY recommend Daniel's free 5 part series on exactly how to use reverbs and delays to create a dynamic, spacious mix. Great stuff.

Thanks for liking it. Yes, that is my first tutorial, that I filmed with the Cam of my labtop - I wanted to take it down, but as it is so detailed and long, many liked it, so I will leave it on the channel.

My idea with the channel was to give some good and in depth information about the basic topics of soundengineering (dynamics / EQ / Depth) and some more for free during the corona time. I was more than lucky in my career, by getting some clients that I would not even have dreamed to ever get, so I thought it would be nice to give something back.

For those interessted:

Video about Dynamics (in which I explain why mixes sound small if that thing is not handelt well)

Video about proper Equalization:

And the never ending story about analog vs digital in my view
https://youtu.be/v8QITLl5Fgk

There are many more. Tho whom it might concern..
