Default PT 9 novice

Hi,

I've just bought and installed PT 9. I have one m-audio delta 1010 and one m-audio 2496. I used to run Cubase where all my inputs would be on the 1010 and for listening back I would use the 2496.

When I first launched PT 9 it asked me to select a driver but it couldn't initialize the the m-audio delta asio driver, so I selected the Generic Low Latency Asio driver. Now I get an acess violation error when I try to load PT. I'm a bit miffed at it being such a faff. Cubase just always worked, but I appreciated that I'm new to it and I might just need some pointers.

Any help is most greatfully recieved.

Sandra report to follow. Sorry, should have read the Read this first, first.

Default Re: PT 9 novice

2 things that worry me:
ADAPTEC RAID 0 407.5GB (RAID) : 380GB (E:) Pro Tools doesn't support RAID.
Pro Tools will only use a single interface at any one time(since PC users can't do the aggregate thing that Mac users can).

Default Re: PT 9 novice

Thanks for the suggestion.

I've read that elsewhere, but I used to use PT 6, + 7 and stored all the work on that drive. Besides, what would PT know anything about about raid? It's hardware raid, not software raid, and even the operating system only knows of single drive. So I don't think it's that.
