1. Hope and Pray that Avid will fix this (unlikely)
2. Restore your backup to Mountain Lion and stay within the approved configurations.

I'm not trying to be smart about this. It really is a couple of your options.

I have the same problem, and can't open any sessions using NI / Maschine. Can't believe I jumped the gun and upgraded. Now i'm screwed.

Just restore to the backup you made before upgrading...You did make a back up right?

This.

PT11 isn't even approved for Yosemite, and PT10 is pretty far behind that, and a dead product. Mavericks works w/10 but there are issues with Yosemite.

Hey, I've got GR5 to run on Yosemite. I guess it the same with Maschine.
It's related to their hardware driver. (I read that somewhere on the NI forum)
I guess this means that this fix won't work with the hardware, which Mashine users have. But you may be able to use it without until NI makes an update. And GR5 seems to work. Haven't testet throughly but it makes sound.

Go to /Library/Appliaction Support/Native Intstruments
- and trash the NIHardwareAgent.app - or maybe move it somewhere safe just in case.

Seems like this thread is quite old.
Do we still have such problem, or Avid fixed it?

On Avid official compatibility grid it is said that pro tolls 12 doesn't work with 10.8.5 and I want to upgrade.

Shall I?
