PT Essentials will not run.
My son just got M-AUDIO Fasttrack Guitar|Mic and it came with ProTools M-Powered Essentials 8.0.2.75
I have installed/uninstalled at least 4 times. When ever we try and run it we get: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: ProTools M-Powered Essential.exe Application Version: 8.0.2.75 Application Timestamp: 4a3c03af Fault Module Name: StackHash_fd00 Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 00000000 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 057d104b OS Version: 6.0.6002.2.2.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: fd00 Additional Information 2: ea6f5fe8924aaa756324d57f87834160 Additional Information 3: fd00 Additional Information 4: ea6f5fe8924aaa756324d57f87834160 I have searched this forum and found no hits. I have tried upgrading it to 8.0.3 and I get the same error for the newer version. What am I missing? |

Re: PT Essentials will not run.
Just as a F.Y.I, I have tried "Run as Administrator" and I got the same error.
I have tried running with 640x480 screen resolution also, the screen just went blank and the PC seemed to hang. My current resolution is 1600x900 and I have problems with some programs running at at that resolution and changing to 640x480 helped them so I figured I would give it a try. |
