Default Distortion in playback on recorded audio

I am having an electrical sounding distortion after i have recorded audio which is recorded perfectly....

I am on a mbox and when I turn the mix control to playback to hear my recorded audio, heavy distortion occurs...

Please inform me as to how to get a good signal for playback.

As it is recorded it has good levals and sounds perfect...

thank you,
crusader
