Default UVI Releases Falcon 2.5

Our friends at UVI have released Falcon 2.5.

Quote:
This update features a slew of new script-based sequencers and MIDI utilities. Sequencers and event processors include the all-new Cartesian Sequencer, Rain Sequencer, Euclidean Keys, Wave Sequencer, Warp Sequencer, Probability Arp, and Note Pan. New MIDI utilities include MIDI Record, an in-line MIDI recorder with drag-n-drop, MIDI Pitch Delay, a classic MIDI event delay with pitch drift support, MIDI Monitor, a MIDI input monitor with event type filters, and Velocity Test, a mono and poly switchable velocity monitor.

2 new effects have been added including TS Overdrive, a drive-stage emulation of the famous Tube Screamer guitar pedal and VCF-20, an emulation of the classic MS VCF (rev-2) including single (morphable HP/LP) and dual-stage (discrete LP and HP) variations.
And a whole lot more. The beast just got a whole lot bigger and fiercer!
Update is free for anyone who owns Falcon 2.0. You can easily update using the UVI update app. I don't know how this affects the Avid version as I own Falcon outright.

Nice update indeed. Also nice that I don't have the Avid supplied Falcon as they've been slow in the past on providing updates to the program although they don't have to do anything other than provide the update that UVI gives them. After all the UVI Falcon is aax

I've only recently started using Falcon...and I love it!

2.5 has some nice new features and additional library content. I love the UVI Portal for easily keeping up to date (similar to Toontrack).

I'm glad I bought it directly from UVI rather than through Avid, a lot less stress!

Glad to say Avid haven't seen a dime from me for almost 8 years now...jeez that feels good.

I agree. I've been playing around with some of the new features. There is definitely going to be a learning curve here, especially with some of the new event processors.

One thing I wish I could find is a good how to vid on using Lua to create those cool looking GUI on the front page of the patches. The default one is boring!
