Pro Tools Unwanted tool bar

I think I accidentally enable a feature and I can't seem to take it off. In the edit window, an extra layer is displayed right above my tempo, how can I get rid of it. I have uploaded an attachment

That’s Bars & Beats you’re showing. Why it’s double the height… I do not know.

Just hide it from view. Click on the little drop down menu box on the left of where it says Bars & Beats and you can choose what you want to show/hide.

I don't want to hide bars & beats. I need it but I do not need the double height. I want to disable the double height. No matter what I change it to. Bars & beats, tempo, meter, samples, etc, it stays in double height.

Hmmm…

That I can’t help you with unfortunately. Never had it happen to me.

Someone else might chime in with an answer. If all else fails, trash your preferences and that will reset all the PT settings to default.

The problem is with the Bars/beats ruler, it looks like it is expanded vertically somehow. I've never seen that before, and I can't reproduce it here. The little white down-arrow is on the tempo ruler, and it can expand tempo ruler. No arrow on bars/beats ruler. Strange.

No that didn't work. But I found the solution. It was "Dynamic Transport" that was causing the double height. Thank you for your input. I appreciate it.
