Default Workspace has No Files & Hard Disks Listed

Why doesn't my 'Workspace' window have any files? Can anyone help?

My Pro Tools 10 Workspace window has no files and no disk drives listed. In 'Workspace', 'Catalogs' is written but it is empty. The only other thing written is 'Folder'. 'Workspace' has been empty since I set up Pro Tools on a new computer.

I have tried to drag files, cut and paste files in every way I can think of with no success. 'Workspace' always blocks my file dragging.

If I try to make a 'new catalog', a box writes "Could not complete your request because Access is denied. (5)."

This problem seems to be the only problem I'm having with Pro Tools 10 and my computer. The computer was built just for creating music and has a hard disk just for Pro Tools which is not used for other programs.

Using Pro Tools 10 (a download upgrade from my hard copy of PT 9)
Using MBox Pro which was bought with ProTools 9.
I have an Axiom 49 keyboard which is plugged in by USB.
Mostly only mics are being plugged into the MBox Pro besides the Axiom 49. This is quite a simple setup.

Here is the Report SiSoftware Sandra Computer Report:
