Default EXTERNAL WORD CLOCK TO 96 or 192 I/O

If I wanted to use a house clock as the master in a PT HD rig (96 or 192 I/O) would the house need to output 96 - 192 clock?? From some of the posts here on the DUC, It sounds like I could use 48k clock even if I was tracking to 96k - 192k. Is this correct?? Please dont kill me on this one. I know it sounds sketchy but I had to ask.
