We have been having some issues with faders sticking when switching from bank to bank. Is there a recommended preventative maintenance procedure we should be following to prevent the stickies.
FYI The board is covered when not in use and is inside (not toured) and we have done the reset thing a couple of time prior to sound check Scott |

Hi Scott,
Need a more info to narrow this down... Which control surface? Are the faders being touched at the same time the bank is switched? If so, they will be taken offline temporarily (display reads "OFF") until the touch is released, at which point they'll move to the correct position. This is intentional and prevents faders from jumping to the wrong position and/or burning out the fader motor. There's also a very short time period after the touch is released when this can happen. You can sometimes see this when you switch between banks rapidly, touching faders in between. We're looking to see if this lag time can be shortened, but it's really not an issue for most people. If it's none of the above then contact Digi Customer Service, and they can walk you through a few other things to check. Sheldon |

Sheldon,
It's the sidecar and no none of the faders are being touched when going from bank to bank. I will contact tech support and have them walk us through it. Tks for the quick response Scott |

Sounds good - keep an eye out for the "touch+release then quick bank" scenario I mentioned, which can cause a similar behavior even when the fader isn't touched. Again, it's rare and you need a pretty fast hand, but it can happen.
