My studio presently has an Omni HD and an 8.1 speaker system. I am exploring entering the world of Dolby Atmos and want to add an MTRX Studio. Although it is non-standard, I would like to develop toward an 8.1.8 speaker system. The 16 analogue outs of the MTRX leaves me 1 short of the 17 analogue outs needed.
My question is, is it possible to incorporate the 8 analogue outs on the Omni with the MTRX for a total of 24 analogue outs? Is there any extra hardware needed? |

Greetings,
Don't forget that MTRX Studio also has a set of TRS outputs which could be used along side the 16 DB25 line outs. best, Jeff |

But the better solution (and more direct) is Jeff's. Use the monitor outputs (1/4" TRS) on the MTRX Studio along with the 16 line-outs on the DB-25. And if you needed 2 more channels, use the headphone outs. They are all independent converters (as you can see in DADman under DA)
