New creative Craigslist scam

Geez, I wish these idiots would get honest jobs!!! So anyway, I may be late to the party, but for anyone later than me, the latest CL scam seems to be an "interested buyer" that wants you(the seller) to reply to some code link to "prove you are a real seller". The only reply you ever need to give to this kind of request is a big fat NO. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but it can only be bad for you. As for me, after my current batch of stuff sells(or doesn't), I may never list on that site again. I'll keep looking and buying, but for selling, I have never dealt with more BS than Craigslist! As much as I despise the fees from Reverb or eBay, those are both a lot "cleaner" to deal with

Facebook also has Marketplace which is great for local sales and purchases like CL.

True, but there again, BS schemes abounds(like when you see a car for $1000 that should be listed for $4000). I guess we live in the age of dishonesty Sure makes me appreciate the brotherhood/sisterhood we enjoy here
