Default Pro Tools 11 AudioBox USB not working....replace with what????

Using ProTools 11.0.0 with Windows 8, 64 bit, 8GB memory
Have AudioBox 2x2 USB by PreSonus U20A121255
Seen in Win8 Device Manger as "AudioBox USB Audio"
AudioBox Win8 driver by PreSonus 5/22/12 v1.57.0.0 (most current)
Windows 8 can see and record using AudioBox USB.
PT11 when you go into Setup/Hardware, under Peripherals on left sees it as a AudioBox ASIO driver. Then on the right PT has a "Launch Setup App" button that does nothing.

I have tried removing and reinstalling the AudioBox USB driver twice and can't get PT to record anything. I see that previous versions of PT does not like AudioBox.

Hardware profile is below.
I am OK getting a replacement for the AudioBox but I do want to make sure it will be recognized by PT11. Any advice on what hardware Protools 11 prefers would be greatly appreciated. I don't mind troubleshooting but my time is worth something also. So if buying a new $100 box makes PT11 happy, I would also be happy.

Thanks in advance for your help/advice.

SiSoftware Sandra

Default Re: Pro Tools 11 AudioBox USB not working....replace with what????

Pro Tools should work with any ASIO compatible audio device. Can you test out the AudioBox using another program (Audacity for example), and/or try it on another computer?

If you're set on changing interfaces, you could get one of the smaller Avid devices:
FastTrack Duo
Mbox

If I where buying a new interface, I've been craving the Motu 896mk3, but I think that is overkill compared to the AudioBox :)
