Sample Conversion
I've done a little forum searching and couldn't find the answer, so here goes:
I'm a total newbie-just got my MBox 2 today with 8.0.3 running on a MacBook. I tried to import some tracks my band did in the studio a while back on a Pro Tools HD rig sampled at 96, which my LE said it couldn't handle. It imported the files, which now sound like demons being slowly tortured upon playback. Is there any way to remedy this speed problem? |

Re: Sample Conversion
Just goto
File > Import > Audio... and make sure that the SRC tick is on (in the bottom right of the audio import window). Select the audio you want to import click 'Convert' and then 'Done'. D |

Re: Sample Conversion
That's the ticket. Mbox can't handle 96K audio. SRC it to 48K. Create a new 48K session and import session data>grab the tracks you want and check the little checkbox for SRC and all should be good.
