Black S1 window blocking EuControl app

How do I get rid of this annoying window blocking my screen?

Mac Pro 7,1
Big Sur
EuControl 2021.10.1

Very annoying since years. AVID doesn't seem to be able to fix that.
Restart Eucon is your only help.
Or you can start Eucon manually after each system start. But also annoying

This is not true...we keep fixing it and Apple keep changing the way they do graphics. Please make sure you are on the latest version of Big Sur...let me know what the version number of OSX? I presume this is with EUCON 21.10.1?

Yes, I'm on a brand new 7,1, latest Big Sur 11.6.1 and latest EuControl.

Restarting the EuControl app does not help. I figured the workaround. There's a very tiny piece of the menu bar for the black window exposed under the MacOS menu bar. If you grab it and just move it, it will disappear. Annoying but that's the only thing that works.

Hi Eddie,

I didn't update (only security updates) our systems since a long time.
We are on macOS 10.14.6 on 5,1 MacPros.

We are getting the randomly appearing Eucon window in every Eucon version since years. Now we are on 21.10.1. I gave up to ask if this will be fixed

Yes, it is random. It doesn't come up all the time when starting EuControl. I think it happens mostly after power cycling the S1.
