Default ProTools 7 upgrade

I am still running ProTools 7.0, TDM, HD3, PCI. Don't have the money for the hardware upgrades necessary to upgrade the software to 8 or higher. However I would like to download the highest free version of 7.x possible to take advantage of some of the fixes that were made. I don't know what version that is. It appears that 7.1cs10 is available for 7.0 users, however, I'm not sure if this will work. I thought I saw a post somewhere that said 7.0 ilok authorization will not work with 7.1cs10 but I can't seem to find that post again. So I guess my question is what version of 7.x can I upgrade to from 7.0 that will work with 7.0 ilok authorization. My apology if the answer to this is available somewhere. I searched quite a bit but couldn't find it. Thank you.

Here's a direct copy from the Avid website:

"The Pro Tools HD 7.1cs10 updates require a Pro Tools|HD or Pro Tools|HD Accel hardware system with Pro Tools HD 7.0 or 7.1 software for PowerPC-based Mac OS X 10.4 or Windows XP already installed"

Seems very straightforward that 7.0 is eligible. More details are on this page, which seems to confirm it again.

Thank you very much for the advice. I did see this before I posted but am bothered by a post I saw that said 7.0 ilok authorization won't authorize 7.1 cs10. I wish I could find that post again but I can't seem to come up with it. I'm not sure if it was on this forum. I was hoping that someone out there has authorized 7.1cs10 with the 7.0 ilok authorization or knows what upgrade version the 7.0 will authorize. I could just try it but really didn't want to end up uninstalling the upgrade if it doesn't work and reinstalling 7.0 again. Perhaps Avid would re-authorize my ilok for the 7.1cs10 version. Thank you again.

So that some people don't waste their time responding to this, I was able to upgrade to 7.1 CS8 and my ilok authorization worked. I chose this upgrade because the avid data base specifically stated that the PT 7.0 ilok authorization would work for this upgrade. I cannot find a comparable statement in the upgrades data base for 7.1CS10.
