Older Expansion Chassis Compatibility Question
I have an older 7 slot Digidesign Branded SBS Chassis and want to know if it can be used with a PCIe host card in an i7 Socket 2100 x87 Windows 7 64 machine. It is obviously a PCI chassis with a Model # MH477. I am not sure if this is 32 or 64 bit. But before I look to purchase a PCIe host card as a replacement for the now defunct PCI host card, I want to know if it's compatible!
I'll also be running UAD and Powercore PCI cards. The info I have managed to find online makes this far from clear to me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. John
