Backup your system drive first(before you do anything else). I would use Acronis True Image to save an image of your system drive(C:) to some external drive(a big USB drive is real handy for this. I have a 2TB USB drive and I have images for every computer I own). Acronis True Image Home 11 is a popular program for this. I would then remove or unplug ALL drives except the C: drive(just a safety precaution). Then reboot and go into BIOS and turn RAID off. Its probably a setting choice of either IDE or AHCI or RAID. AHCI is best if you run SATA drives. Then cross your fingers and hope that the system boots after the change. If the system boots to your desktop, check your system tweaks and shut down. Reconnect your recording and sample drives and reboot and test.

Ok.
Talked to iomega.

They say it is NOT Raid, and according to screen shots i sent, windows is seeing the drive just fine.

Talked to Dell.

Went thru the Bios with them over the phone and the laptop is not setup for raid or have any options for it in the bios.

I will look into a new firewire express 34 card.

Anything else????
