FastTrack Pro - PT LE 8 - UNABLE TO LOCATE DIGIDESIGN HARDWARE???

Looks like everyone has this problem with the Mbox but what about FastTrack Pro?? I have installed the latest driver for my fasttrack pro, and I have installed pro tools 8. Everything is connected properly, I'm on a Mac OS X 10.6.2 and it's recognizing the fast track pro - why isn't Pro Tools recognizing it as well?? What could possibly be wrong?

Pro Tools LE requires a Digidesign LE audio interface.
Pro Tools M-Powered requires an M-Audio audio interface.

Not sure why would have Pro Tools LE if you have no Digidesign interface, but what you have listed in your profile is not going to work:

System Details
Mac OS X Version 10.6.2
Pro Tools LE 8
Fast Track Pro

so basically i have two options:
1. buy pro tools m-powered
or
2. get a digidesign le audio interface
am i correct?

And one more question- since I have do a fast track pro - is there any place where I can just download the pro tools software that is supposed to come with it?? I bought it about a year ago and the Pro Tools version that came with it was PT 5 and I can't even run the installer on my iMac. So what can I do with this fast track pro now?? I need a software with it...
