Is the LA-2A (see website below) same as BF-3A ?
Is the LA-2A referred to on this digi website http://www.digidesign.com/download/hdpack/ the same as the BF-3A as shown in the Bomb Factory Plugins Guide? or is it a different plugin?

The LA-2A is now the BF-2A and what was the LA-3A is now the BF-3A.

but you need an iLok update from Digi to use the latest version (4.1.1) of your Classic Comp bundle. The 1176 is now free (as you might know). The BF-2A is part of the new Classic Comp bundle, so you need to d/l the installer and remove the Purple Audio MC77 which isn't included in your free upgrade (sic!). I think the BF-3A requires a separate iLok, too. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong)
It looks to me like Digi should shake up the BF compressor line which has too many different products at uncompetitive prices and make one bundle with all the retro comp stuff or lower the price of all the comps... pv |
