C'mon...work a little harder...surely you can provide us with less information if you really try...

ha ha - ok - good point

been away from PT for a bit

in other daws, I hit the home key - bang - I am transported to the start of my timeline - not happening here in PT - so I looked to see if I could customize my home key button to do so - no luck as of yet

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

(I am typically in need of one key stroke solutions - as I record much by myself, while holding instruments in one hand and engineering with the other)

There we go - more information - ha ha - I hope it was worth it for both of us - and I am joking....its been a long day...

I installed an artist mix today on my system - does that help my quest for one button home....hoping...fingers crossed...holding breath...

Cheers

Well the return key would put at the top of the session? Markers are also useful for navigation.

I am on a PC hitting return with no effect -

with respect to markers - is there a tab to marker key for navigation between markers

I hit enter and I can lay down a marker (been years since I used them...hence the brain-fart) just donèt know how to travel between them (yet...again...as mentioned - been awhile...)

Once again - the objective is to hit one key, with one hand, and land at the start of my session...fingers crossed

Return works in Mac ? If you 'show' the marker window you can click on the marker you need. There are short cuts to each marker too.

The enter key takes my cursor back to zero. Maybe you have a faulty keyboard? Or do you have a plugin open that is "hogging' the keyboard(like Superior Drummer does with the spacebar)

  • Win+Enter - Go to song start
  • Enter - Return to start of session
  • Enter(on numeric keypad) - Create memory location
