Default D-Control Fader alternative

Not sure if this has been discussed, but I just successfully replaced a few dying faders with Midas P&G clones. They work well. The fader throw is about a 16th of an inch shorter than the stock faders but doesn't affect usability. They fully CAL and report correct touch values. The only modification needed is to rearrange the connector pinout to match the color code of the stock faders, not difficult.
Under $200 for a set of 5 is hard to beat.

Very interesting! Never heard of these. What's the feel like? I don't actually find the P&G faders that great for feel actually, nothing like the TKD faders in the S6 for example.

They feel ok, no better or worse than the P&G. They are not as smooth as the s6 faders, and nowhere near say the DFC / logic fader. That said they are better than sticky non-functioning p&g's

I’ve had my D-Command (Blue) switched off for a couple of months while I did some things. When I turned it back on I had TOUCH errors on half my faders and in my search for a solution I came across a post on the DUC from like 2013 for the Pro Control that said to rapidly press the CAL button up to 1000 times if needed. I did it about 40 times and all my TOUCH errors went away, don’t ask why but it did. This might save somebody some money maybe.
