Thanks for the advice! Yes I mean third party plugs btw... I'll run the installer as admin- not sure if I did or not but I do know I always let the installer do its own thing and just pay attention to where its placing stuff if it'll show me.

Are the plugins in the folders they're supposed to be in?
You say your Kontakt libraries aren't working - is Kontakt itself working with it's stock stuff? Which revision of Kontakt do you have? Some people have reported issues with K6.6.0

Perhaps the plugins that are missing are not compatible with the current version of Protools. Given that you were away from Protools for 2 years, some of these plugins might need to be updated. Case in point: 32-bit plugins are no longer supported as Protools only works with 64-bit plugins now. There may also be compatibility issues with newer version of the OS. I know it is a pain, but you'll need to go through every plugin and check for compatibility and updates.
