Digi, what do you suggest for Soft Sampler and PT6.0?

Hello Digi,

Perhaps you've seen some of the posts in which users (or potential users) are wondering what to do regarding the use of a software sampler and PT6.0. It has been pointed out that your previous suggestion was that people take a look at Native Instruments Kontakt, and it has now been brought to light that Kontakt will not be ported over to RTAS. It has also been lamented by several that your position of discontinuing SoftSampleCell leaves us high end, TDM users with no samplers for PT6.0.

Do you have any public info which might help us all figure out where to turn? I'm pretty sure that there are many up here who desperately need some sampler support if we want to move forward with PT6.0.

Machfive - MOTU - UVI engine ... reads almost every format out there and is not only a reader but also a fullsize sampler.

Haven't tried it yet but it sure looks great.

I'm going to try and confirm this today, but it appears Bitheadz UNITY (DS-1 and Session) are both available and run on OSX RTAS. I recently "Crossgraded" from DS-1 to Kontakt, but I may shell out the $149 for the DS-1 Upgrade especially since most of my stuff is still in Unity. It's not the MOST stable software (in OS9 anyway), but from a time standpoint, I could be up and running in OSX/PT's 6 with it. I'll post again when I get it.

I'm using Logic with EXS24, reads Samplecell directly, then bounce audio files, import into PT for mixing...PT suck in midi anyway.
Man, that $300 bucks for EXS24 was my best investment in recent time
