Default eliminating pops after cuting/pasting

I do my best when trying to replace unwanted portions of a loop to replace at o points in the wavefore, aligning the pasted selection to an endpoint at o, if possible. if not then it clicks (or even if it is at o sometimes. i will try to use the wave drawer but it still clicks. its so tricky sometimes ive sat for hours drawing it randomly cause what im hearing doesent sync with what im seeing, sometimes ending in victory and sometimes not. this time not. anyone have any triks for this
?

join the 2 regions, then use use the selector tool and select a bit in from the end of region 1, drag across over the join, and also abit into region 2. so you now have the 2 joined regions in black indicating it is selected, and press Command + F. it will make a fade for you, and you wont hear the pop anymore.

That's a cross-fade and it works great.
