can't really tell. i did look thru my invoices though, and found it to be a model that has 3g sustained transfer.

There seems to be some confusion in this thread over SATA revisions. Any SATA device will work with any SATA interface, whatever revision any of the two devices follow. SATA is completely backwards- and forwards-compatible. I got a SATA-6G drive to work in a SATA-1.5G-equipped G5 in the time it took to plug the wires and power up.
