Default Couple Questions

Hello and thank you,
1). Shortcuts- which button moves you forward or back by 1 "frame"?
2). I have an imperfection on one of my tracks, it sounds like someone bumped the mic, but I think its the signal that dropped out. Any suggestions to fix either?
3) Any links that you couldn't live without? Compression, processing, techniques, effects, history...
4) Any forum where people share mixes and give feedback?

Thank you and hope your well

B

The + and - keys next to the numeric key pad will nudge a selected region (If I remember correct - is toward the front of the song and + is toward the end of the song) The amount by which you can nudge is a drop down menu in the edit window just above the clips pane - every thing from 1 sample up to lots...?

Is that what you meant?

BTW - any relation to Janis?

Scott

I would insert a Trim plugin into the track and automate the gain parameter of that plugin to trim down the volume of that noise. Depending on the type of noise, automating an EQ that filters out the unwanted frequencies on that spot could help too.

The Mixing Engineer's Handbook - Owsinski
The Womb Forums.

None that I know of, but tell me if you found some. The Womb Forums have an area to post mixes for comments, but the quantity of replies varies.
