"Pro Tools Application has stopped working" when launching pro tools 10
Hello everyone!
I have encountered an unpleasant problem, and I'm very happy for any help I can get. When I try to start pro tools the following message appears: "Pro Tools Application has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program." And this problem has been there from the start. I have not been able to use Pro Tools at any time after installing it. I use DIGI 003 Rack + with the latest driver installed (v9.0.2.65) and Pro Tools 10.3.5 (with Complete production tool kit). But Pro Tools never wants to start. So I've tried to re-install the program as well as the 003 Rack drivers several times, even on another computer, but without any improvements. The 003 Rack itself works fine in windows. I can use it as my default device and playback sound in other programs. And I'm also positive that the iLok is working properly, because when I tried to have it not inserted there is an error message about that, which does not occur when I have it inserted. I appreciate any help This is my sandra report: SiSoftware Sandra ID Host Name : Kristofersdator Workgroup : WORKGROUP Computer Model : Clevo W25CEW Not Applicable Serial Number : Not App******* Chassis : No Enclosure Laptop Mainboard : Clevo W25CEW Serial Number : Not App******* BIOS : AMI (OEM) 1.02.10 12/19/2012 TPM - Trusted Platform Module : 1.02, IFX Intel vPro : 8.01.00.1265 Total Memory : 15.88GB DDR3 SO-DIMM Processors Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3720QM CPU @ 2.60GHz (4C 8T 3.59GHz, 3.6GHz IMC, 4x 256kB L2, 6MB L3) Socket/Slot : FC PGA988 Chipset Memory Controller : Clevo Core (Ivy Bridge) Mobile DRAM Controller 100MHz, 2x 8GB DDR3 SO-DIMM 1.6GHz 128-bit, Integrated Graphics Memory Module(s) Memory Module : Kingston 9905428-095D00LF 8GB DDR3 SO-DIMM PC3-12800S DDR3-1600 (11-11-11-29 5-40-13-6) Memory Module : Kingston 9905428-095D00LF 8GB DDR3 SO-DIMM PC3-12800S DDR3-1600 (11-11-11-29 5-40-13-6) Video System Monitor/Panel : BNQ BenQ T221WA (1680x1050, 21.7") Monitor/Panel : Lenovo ThinkPad Display 1600x900 (1600x900, LP156WD1-TLB2, 15.7") Monitor/Panel : Samsung SAMSUNG (1920x1080, 7.2") Video Adapter : Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 (16CU 16SP SM5.0 350MHz/1.25GHz, 64MB DDR3 1.6GHz/3GHz 128-bit, Integrated Graphics) Graphics Processor OpenCL GP Processor : Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 (16SP 16C 350MHz/1.25GHz, 1.6GB DDR3 1.6GHz/3GHz 128-bit, Integrated Graphics) Compute Shader Processor : Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 (16SP 1.1GHz/1.25GHz, 64MB DDR3 1.6GHz/3GHz 128-bit, Integrated Graphics) Storage Devices Samsung SSD 840 Series (500.1GB, SATA600, SSD) : 466GB (C:) Seagate ST3000DM003-1CD16N (3TB, USB3/SATA600, 3.5", 5900rpm) : 3TB (E:) MAT[bleep][bleep][bleep][bleep]ADVD-RAM UJ8C0 (SATA150, DVD+-RW, CD-RW, 768kB Cache) : N/A (D:) DTSOFT BDROM () : N/A (F:) Logical Storage Devices System (C:) : 448GB (NTFS) @ Samsung SSD 840 Series (500.1GB, SATA600, SSD) Kristofers (E:) : 3TB (NTFS) @ Seagate ST3000DM003-1CD16N (3TB, USB3/SATA600, 3.5", 5900rpm) Optical Drive (D:) : N/A @ MAT[bleep][bleep][bleep][bleep]ADVD-RAM UJ8C0 (SATA150, DVD+-RW, CD-RW, 768kB Cache) Optical Drive (F:) : N/A @ DTSOFT BDROM () Peripherals LPC Hub Controller 1 : Clevo Panther Point LPC Controller LPC Legacy Controller 1 : T1 0B-00 Audio Device : Clevo Panther Point High Definition Audio Controller Audio Codec : VIA 8446 Serial Port(s) : 1 Disk Controller : Clevo Panther Point Mobile 6 port SATA AHCI Controller USB Controller 1 : Clevo Panther Point USB xHCI Host Controller USB Controller 2 : Clevo Panther Point USB Enhanced Host Controller #2 USB Controller 3 : Clevo Panther Point USB Enhanced Host Controller #1 FireWire/1394 Controller 1 : TI XIO2200(A) IEEE-1394a-2000 Controller (PHY/Link) SMBus/i2c Controller 1 : Intel ICH SMBus Printers and Faxes Printer : Microsoft XPS Document Writer (600x600, Colour) Fax : Microsoft Shared Fax Driver (200x200) Network Services Network Adapter : Intel(R) 82579V Gigabit Network Connection (Ethernet, 100Mbps) Power Management Battery No 1 : NOTEBOOK BAT 67.97Wh/5.33Ah Operating System Windows System : Microsoft Windows 7 Home 6.01.7601 (Service Pack 1) Platform Compliance : x64 Windows Experience Index Current System : 6.5

Re: "Pro Tools Application has stopped working" when launching pro tools 10
Just a suggestion, but something running in the background might be preventing Pro Tools from running. Open up task manager (ctrl+alt+delete) and kill (right click+ end process) any processes running until Pro Tools is able to launch successfully.

Re: "Pro Tools Application has stopped working" when launching pro tools 10
Integrated graphics has been known to cause problems.
Your Seagate drive (which I assume you're recording to) is a 5900rpm...needs to be 7200rpm. You may also want to look at your RAM timings in BIOS. Unfortunately, a myriad of threads here on the DUC illustrate it's not the best idea to buy Pro Tools expecting it to run on any computer particularly Laptops, except some Macs. I'm sure others will chime in with some ideas in the hope of getting you up & running.
