Hi
I'm working on several projects that require the recording of short phrases. These then need to have a silence of 4 sec inserted and between each phrase. So I firstly use Strip Silence and then paste a 4sec region between each phrase. With shuffle mode activated I can simply click on the region and drag it to the previous region and so on. Problem is this is tedious when you have 180 phrases. A nice feature in Pr Tools is the "Snap To Previous" found by right clicking on a region. However there does not seem to be a ket command for this, unless I'm overlooking this. Any ideas? |

With Tab to Transient OFF and in SHUFFLE mode, you could tab to the end of the first region, gold the shift key and tab to the beginning of the next region(which would highlight the blank area), hitting DELETE would snap the second region to the end of the first region (but it would also MOVE every region past there by the same amount).

You can make custom key commands in System Preferences, Keyboard, Keyboard shortcuts. I've done this to toggle Low Latency mode, etc.

I doubt you can access the right click menu's from Keyboard Shortcuts or Quickeys. You may be SOL on this one unless Avid decides to implement it.

It isn't just a Right Click menu option. It also exits in the Edit menu, so Keyboard shortcuts would work...

I got serious problems trying to find the place you are talking about in the system preferences. I am working the LE, and I don't think you can customize your own key commands here. Haven't found it anywhere.

It is not inside le, but in the system preferences of the os.
System preferences/keyboard menu. You can define/refine shorcuts there.
