Can Protools HD capture 24/23.97fps?
Just wondering if anyone has been able to do this? Have the session set to 24fps, HD video reference format set to "1080i - 48/1080spf - 24" coming from HDCamSR (Sony SRW5500) (Sync HD and all house synced together). Coming in via Mojo SDI using SDI connection, Protools HD 8.1
Get the following message: "Session frame rate is incompatible with PAL or NTSC" - from this i'm taking no to be the answer but wondered if there was anyway around it Thanks D |

Mojo SDI is not HD. It'll only accept standard def NTSC or PAL signals, and your session has to be set up to match when capturing.

Thats what i thought since we have to take the SD output from the deck to get picture at normal PAL/NTSC
Thanks for the confirmation D |
