Default Mix window widening

Why watching a tutorial on the Digidesign website I noticed that on one scene he clicked something on the mix window and the mix tracks wider, dont get me wrong I know how to wide/narrow mix but this actualy made the track sliders bigger.
Any ideas on how this was done?

Cheerz,
XeS
