unable to import xml files in scorch

struggling for hours buying an app and can't get it right
already installed and removed scorch app a dozen times but unable to get it right

itunes on w10 laptop is seeing my ipad
installing through itunes on laptop wil put scorch in library there but not synchronised on ipad and can't find the app there
also the other way round if from appstore on ipad no synchronisation on laptop

i don't have/see file sharing on itunes on laptop (think it is swetup as needed)

frustrated because have a load of xml files i want to have in scorch for using ipad on choir rehearsals
