Default No Free PT 11 Upgrade
I just bought and registered a Pro Tools 9 got an email with my Pro Tools 10 code instead of Pro Tools 11 - very disappointed

I just registered a copy of PT 10, and in MyAvid account it says 11.

The grace period is for newly bought PT10 software, when you now go on and register PT10 with the code you just got that will be a new registration, so maybe you will be lucky and get free PT11 too.

They won't be sending out PT11 codes yet though, it's not out yet!

mine says Pro Tools 10 - kind of pathetic for any new PT 9 buyers like me.

Hi,

Any new purchases of Pro Tools 10 from the 7th April will include free upgrade to PT 11

Pro Tools 11 has a dual boot and bundle licence PT11 and PT10 so you can boot into either.

Upgrades to 10: i don't think they qualify for the free upgrade to 11

Any form of PT10 or upgrade bought from yesterday on qualifies. This includes the codes that come with Eleven Rack and Mbox Pro.

OK i might be wrong on this! It reads purchases of Pro Tools 10 (no mention of upgrades) but purchases might also encompass upgrades.

"Good news! Anyone purchasing or upgrading to Pro Tools 10 after April 7, 2013 will receive a FREE upgrade to Pro Tools 11."
