Default Hardware for protools Studio version

Hi all, I run Flex and HD Native to MTRX studio, all good.

I want to set up in another room PT Studio as I don’t need the specs of Flex, and the lower subscription is attractive

Question: what hardware with 16 I/O and thunderbolt are most of you using with PT Studio? I don’t need HD Native box for this right? So a Symphony or Focusrite or Antelope with thunderbolt will do?

Thanks in advance and sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, I did search!

H

Take a look at motu 16a. We use it here along other motu Thunderbolt / avb interfaces with great sound and stability.

Hi both thanks for recommending!

Just to be 100% clear, I can use both these units with a thunderbolt connection and PT Studio. So no need for a HD Native box, right?

thanks again!

Yes. I use motu’s with thunderbolt, usb or avb connection. No need for hd native box.
